Today’s Image
This is a screen shot from an Associated Press article entitled “Four Palestinians die in storming of UN food warehouse a day after gunfire at new Gaza aid site”, Think about this for a second. The AP, along with CNN, NYT, BBC, ABC, CBS, PBS, etc. have been running headlines for the past few weeks informing the world that Israel was deliberately withholding aid and starving the Gazans. Yet, during this entire time the UN. in collaboration with Hamas, was sitting on at least 3 warehouses filled with sacks of flour (blocking them from being distributed) and more than 600 semi-trailer truck loads of aid sitting inside Gaza waiting to be distributed. And all this while one UN official another testified that 14,000 Gazan babies were going to die within 48 hours unless Israel released the aid. Here you can see a video showing how millions of pitas are being baked in Gaza (dated May 25, 2025) while the Hamas, the UN and all their collaborators in crime screamed that Israel was generating a genocide.
Think about it a minute. Here we have an image of Gazan citizens storming a UN managed warehouse storing enormous quantities of flour and stealing them. Well, if the UN is warehousing so much flour how is it possible that the Gazans were starving? I can tell you why…. The UN is complicit in cooperating with Hamas in starving its own population. This warehouse has been holding this flour for weeks. Moreover, there are still more than 600 truckloads of aid sitting on staging areas inside Gaza waiting to be distributed by these same corrupt UN organizations. And they have been sitting there for weeks.
But according to these same UN organizations, Israel is conducting a genocide and starving the Gazan population. That is what you are seeing and hearing on your cable TV news stations, right? Maybe you have been a deserted island for the past month? If that is the case go check out these media posts from the news outlets you “trust”:
BBC dated May 30, 2025 - “Gaza subjected to forced starvation, top UN official tells BBC”,
The Guardian dated May 22, 2025 - “If aid doesn’t enter Gaza now, 14,000 babies may die. UN peacekeepers must step in”,
And here is the leader of this conspiracy, Tom Fletcher (UN Humanitarian Chief) testifying with his ongoing lies about aid to the UN Security Council, dated May 16, 2025, he should be sued for libel and slander,
NYT Dated May 5, 2025 - “As Gaza Siege Grinds On, Gazan Children Go Hungry and Patients Die”,
Reuters dated May 12, 2025 - “Gaza population faces critical risk of famine, global hunger monitor says”,
CNN dated May 1, 2025 - “Gaza edges closer to famine as Israel’s total blockade nears its third month”,
Press briefing by Jens Laerke of the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs telling reporters that “Gaza is the ‘hungriest place on earth’, as Israel continues stranglehold on aid”, dated May 30, 2025
And in this Jerusalem Post report it quotes Mr. Tom Fletcher acknowledging that he lied about the 14,000 babies that were going to die in 48 hours. And here is the actual interview on the BBC.
And in this Jerusalem Post report the Israeli Director for COGAT Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories accuses Fletcher and his subordinates of lying to the public - “COGAT accuses another UN official of lying following claims of 10,000 waiting aid trucks”
etc., etc., etc.,
Again, let me repeat so the point is made….
Aid has been sitting inside Gaza for the past 3 months, more than the equivalent of 600 semi trailer truckloads, waiting to be distributed by the UN.
Led by Thomas Fletcher of the UN, the UN has gone on a non stop campaign accusing Israel of blocking aid and deliberately starving Gazans.
The UN, in collaboration with Hamas, has been holding at least 3 warehouses inside Gaza that were full of sacks of flour for at least the last 3 months.
Then, when the Gazans start to figure all this out and Hamas is becoming to weak to block raids on these warehouses, Gazans storm the facility to take the aid that was denied them while the newspapers try to blame all this on Israel while portraying the Gazans as desperate and starving. Sure they are desperate. The UN is conspiring with Hamas to withhold the aid for money.
Nearly, all the media outlets around the world simply regurgitated the hate coming from the UN without doing any independent checking of its own as to the reality. And since all this has been exposed, none have either reported errata nor exposed the level of corruption at the UN and how it collaborates with Hamas.
The only conclusion one can reach from all this is that either all these media outlets are staffed with total morons and/or they are 100% complicit along with the UN and Hamas in conducting a worldwide conspiracy against the state of Israel.
I write more about aid in the usual Aid Section below. There I explain WHY the UN is motivated to discredit Israel.
Casualties
Since my last post the IDF has reported one casualty from fighting in Gaza - Staff Sgt. Danilo Mocanu 20 (Z’’L). He died when a building he was in collapsed after a nearby explosion. There has also been one civilian casualty: David Libi - 19 (Z’’L) a civilian contractor. Libi’s tractor hit a buried explosive during clearing operations inside Jabaliya, a large neighborhood in Gaza City.
Rockets & Missiles & Drones
Since my last post six rockets have been fired from Gaza in two separate incidents. All either fell in open fields or were intercepted by Iron Dome missiles. There has been no damage nor injuries resulting. The IDF issued evacuation orders to those living near the origin of these rockets earlier last week. Then they went in and destroyed the launching infrastructure. Today, Saturday, three rockets were fired from Gaza landing in unpopulated areas of Israel near the border with Gaza.
More than seven ballistic missiles have been fired by Yemen’s Houthis targeting Israel. None have reached Israel but did trigger alarms through much of the middle of the country. All the missiles were intercepted by Israel’s Arrow anti-missile system.
Iron Beam - IMPORTANT!!
The IDF revealed this past week that it had deployed its new Iron Beam laser based anti-missile system in real life action along the northern border with Lebanon during the second half of 2024 without informing the public. You can read more about it here and see a live video of Iron Beam produced by its manufacturer, Rafael Industries, here. And here is another worth reading.
I cannot emphasize enough the impact of this new technology on Israel, its enemies and the world. It is like a scene out of Star Wars. Firstly, the system adopts the same tracking system as Iron Dome so it is fast and effective. Each Iron Dome anti-rocket missile costs about $60,000 to produce and launch. So a Hamas rocket costing less than $1,000 to build costs Israel 60X that to eliminate. It is worth the cost due to the potential damage and loss of life, but it is a real problem. Each firing of Iron Beam costs below $10. The success rate of Iron Beam during its deployment was 100%. It took out every drone fired by Hezbollah across the border into Israel. The Iron Beam will also be effective in knocking out the “fire balloons” that were routinely launched by Hamas before the war. Hamas would take condoms that it got for free from the UN, inflate them with Helium, attach a lit Molotov cocktail to them and the let the wind carry them across the border into Israel where they would ignite a fire into the agricultural fields of Israel. It is my guess that Iron Beam can also take these out so they never cross the border into Israel.
The IDF is the first military in the world to use this type of weapon. It is going to change dramatically the dynamics of what our neighbors can do to harm us in the future. It is a real game changer. While the US Defense Industry has also been testing laser based anti-missile systems they do not have the sophisticated tracking system that Iron Beam inherits from Iron Dome.
The system that was tested in the field was a mobile based system that is mounted onto a military vehicle making it fast and easy to deploy to the battle front. I believe that the IDF is also funding the development of systems which can be airborne. That would be a major advance. And research is ongoing in order to produce an higher power system that is capable of eliminating ballistic missiles. You can read more here.
Gaza Front
In the absence of a hostage deal the IDF continues to intensify and expand its operations in Gaza. In the south it has expanded its range of control from Rafah and its neighborhoods to Khan Younis. The IDF is now in control of all this southern region with the exception of small specific ares of Khan Younis. As they proceed through these areas the IDF is demolishing much of the remaining buildings in order to prevent Hamas from hiding out in them. At the start of the war this area was the base for Hamas and its leadership. And in the north the IDF is expanding its operations beyond Jabaliya into other areas of Gaza City. And then there are specific and narrow operations in Nuseiret and Deir-al-Balah where were both left pretty much unharmed in the previous rounds of fighting. According to all the military analysts the IDF intends to take control of nearly the entire Gaza Strip, except for the carved out humanitarian zones and limited areas where Hamas is likely to continue its operations. Here you can see a map that was printed on leaflets dropped in Gaza. Those yellow arrows are telling the civilian population where they should go as the IDF is slowly moving into all those areas marked in red.
In addition to the territorial expansion the IDF continues to target senior Hamas leaders for assassination. Speaking of IDF assassinations of Hamas, you should take the time to read and watch the videos posted her by Israel National News. They took the videos from the IDF web site here. There you can see an animated video showing the location where Mohammad Sinwar and Mohammad Shabaneh were meeting when the IDF assassinated them via an aerial assault on their hideout adjacent to the European Hospital in Khan Yunis. There you will see images of the before and after attack on the facilities of the hospital and see how precise the strikes were. No one inside the hospital was harmed, but all the 12+ terrorists meeting with the Hamas leadership were killed. The precision of the strikes is amazing. Here is what the IDF has published regarding its rogues gallery and its progress:
and

As the IDF uncovers tunnels and weapons storage facilities it is moving to destroy them. Here you can see a video dated from May 24, 2025 of an aerial bombardment of an Hamas weapons storage facility. Note that after strike explosions demonstrating that weapons were stored there. Here is a video from the IDF web site showing one of the tunnels they found and its destruction. There are still many tunnels yet to be destroyed. Previously, the IDF did not have enough explosives to destroy the tunnel infrastructure as it was subject to an embargo under the Biden Administration. Now that the explosives are either coming from the US or being produced locally, the IDF is able to make more progress. And here you can see the IDF destroying some of the hidden rocket launchers.
The bottom line is that the IDF is making incredible progress in squeezing Hamas by taking out their leadership, destroying their infrastructure and delivering aid while bypassing Hamas and their collaborators at the UN aid agencies. The main problem at this stage is that Hamas still maintains control over the four central towns of Gaza - Nuseirat, Maghazi, Bureij and Deir al-Balah - and parts of Gaza City. The hostages are being held underground in areas of these cities and that has prevented the IDF from entering these areas previously. It is not known at this point how the IDF intends to remove Hamas control over these areas at this time. The other problem is that Hamas has convinced its members that there is glory in death. So, it is not likely that even with nothing to fight with, a terror organization like Hamas will decide one day to give up control. They must lose the support of the population. And that will take longer.
Lebanon Front
The major change here is that the Lebanese Government and Army continue to make progress eliminating Hezbollah infrastructure in Southern Lebanon. The IDF locates facilities, informs the USA delegation in Lebanon and the USA informs the Lebanese Army. Surprisingly it is working. The more the Lebanese Army progresses in this way the more confidence they build amongst themselves and the population. Local elections were held in Southern Lebanon and Hezbollah won by a landslide but this is because Hezbollah has been operating in the South for so many years.
The IDF still maintains its surveillance positions along the blue line “border” with Lebanon. They use this to direct aerial (fighter jet or drone) strikes against narrow targets. Just today the IDF assassinated one of Hezbollah’s regional commanders, Mohammed Ali Jamoul, in the Southern Lebanese town of Deir Al-Zahrani. Jamoul commanded the Hezbollah rocket array positions in Southern Lebanon. The day before IDF fighter jets struck arms weapons depots in the Syrian coastal port of Latakia, striking a Hezbollah storage facility housing surface-to-surface missiles.
Syrian Front
The IDF positions along the border between Israel and Syria remain. There are no more bellicose statements released regarding the Syrian Druze population under siege. More than 200 Syrian citizens are being treated in Israeli medical facilities in Northern Israel. You can see a video and read more about this here.
Egypt/Jordan/Iran
The big worry here in Israel is what will come out of the ongoing negotiations between the Trump Administration and the Islamic State of Iran. President Trump placed a call last week with Prime Minister Netanyahu essentially warning him that any unilateral action by Israel against Iran while negotiations were being conducted would be a “huge mistake”. This is after leaks coming from the US National Security Agency to the US press suggested that Israel was preparing for an imminent attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. As intended this severely ties the hands of what the IDF can do. Meanwhile, the main US Negotiator Steve Witikoff has sent, via the Foreign Minister of Oman, a detailed proposal on what the USA would expect in any deal with Iran. So far the US negotiators have refrained from leaking any details to the press. And here in Israel we here constant ongoing conflicting statements, most likely reflecting the internal debates within the Trump Administration over what it would accept as a minimum from Iran.
Before going into some of the details I deem it important to remind my readers that there is no country in the world that possesses a Uranium enrichment program that does not either have a nuclear bomb or have the ability to deliver one. None!! Countries with civilian nuclear reactor programs purchased the 2.6% enriched Uranium from a potential list of suppliers that include the USA, France, the UK, Russia. Japan, as an example, purchases the fuel for its reactors. So the only reason for Iran to demand that its enrichment system remain intact is so that it can create a nuclear bomb capability.
Israel has made its position clear that Iran must destroy all its enrichment facilities, missile delivery facilities and that all this be verified. While this might be a bit much to demand, at a minimum the Islamic Republic should destroy all its enrichment capabilities, then sell its enriched Uranium to one of the existing suppliers so that it can be repurchased at a normal enrichment level of 2.6%.
Iran, so far, demands that nothing can change its enrichment program. And during Trump’s tour of the Gulf States - Saudi Arabia, Qatar and UAE - all he heard from the leaders of those countries was how bombing the nuclear facilities would be a big mistake. This is because during Trump’s first term Iran fired ballistic missiles at some of the oil facilities of Saudi Arabia doing severe damage. And the gulf countries do not want to see that happen again.
So at this point, outside of the Trump Administration, no one really knows the US red line and whether a reasonable position can be established with Iran. It is making most of us very nervous here.
Aid
The big news here is that the IDF in collaboration with a US based non profit called Gaza Humanitarian Foundation GHF have established 3 new aid distribution sites in Gaza bordering on the southern edge of the humanitarian zone where most of the population lives. After a rocky first day, the operation has proven to be highly successful. Gazan families are being told to send a representative from their family to fetch enough boxes of food to supply their entire family for a week. In just three days of operation more than 35,000 food package have been distributed in a very orderly fashion to Gazan families whose representatives queued in line in an orderly fashion. Each of those packages contained enough food to feed a family of five for a week. Except for the first day when there was a minor skirmish, the aid is being distributed without looters present and most importantly without Hamas selling the food to its own population in order to steal whatever money it can grab. The IDF is hoping to double the aid operation over the coming week.
The use of this alternative route for delivering aid bypasses both Hamas and the corrupt UN Aid Organizations, who collaborate with Hamas. After the ransacking of one of the UN warehouses filled with flour, another was attacked by Gazan civilians today. Yet the delivery system established by the IDF in collaboration with the GHF is expanding its successful operations. This new path for aid accomplishes the following:
Prevents Hamas from hoarding the aid and then charging its own citizens fees for delivering the aid which was provided for free by foreign agencies.
To this end it should reduce the ability of Hamas to hold its own population hostage. In so doing, it will reduce the governing authority of Hamas.
With the Gazan population less dependent on Hamas, aid delivery should be smoother, more reliable and consistent.
The IDF can determine where the aid will be distributed so that the Gazan population can be focused away from the fighting and not held as living hostages and shields for the Hamas fighting forces.
The UN Aid Agencies, most importantly UNRWA, will be rendered useless. They have been collaborating with Hamas and holding the Gazan population as ransom.
As the Gazan population becomes less reliant on Hamas the intelligence gathering capabilities of the IDS and ISA (Shin Bet) will steadily improve, making it easier to take out the replenished Hamas leadership and its facilities where it still stores arms.
The IDF ‘s role is to secure the perimeter of the aid stations to ward off Hamas, other terror groups and bandits. For the past three days there have been not been any major violence or incidents at the GHF distribution sites.
Meanwhile, you saw what happens at the UN based operations as I explained in the “Image of the Day” section above. In just the past three days 760 trucks of aid have passed through the southern border crossing between Egypt to Israel and Israel to Gaza. All of this aid is earmarked for UN distribution. In these same three days the UN aid organizations have only picked up 238 trucks worth of material claiming that there are “operational” reasons they can’t pick up more. Of those 238 trucks more than half, 135, were stolen by Hamas. As of now there are 550 trucks worth of aid sitting inside Gaza staging areas waiting for the UN agencies to distribute them. This is because of their under the table collaboration with Hamas. In effect, the UN is doing what it can to undermine the new approach to aid distribution because it exposes both their incompetence as well as their close collaboration with Hamas. Hamas steals the aid and then sells it to their own population. It then uses that money to pay its terrorists. Without this means for stealing money from its own population, Hamas will run out of funds and a means for paying its army of terrorists. The Israeli government also sees this as a mechanism to cut off the Gazan population from the corrupt governance of Hamas.
As this happens we will start to see alternatives to Hamas governance emerge. For example, in this article you can read about several of the major clans in Gaza reaching out to Israel and the IDF. As Hamas’ continues to weaken more alternatives will emerge…
The Israeli government is being coy about who is actually paying for the aid that is being distributed through this new process. Here are some links to related articles that you can read and view if you like:
Here is one you MUST read from The Free Press dated May 29, 2025, “New Aid Group in Gaza Makes an End Run Around Hamas—and the UN”,
Center for Peace Communications dated May 29, 2025 - Here you can see a video of a young Gazan describing how Hamas is holding them ransom and expressing his gratitude to the USA for this new aid. One could not expect him to thank Israel as that would be asking too much.
The Jerusalem Post report dated May 30, 2025 “New aid distribution mechanism threatens Hamas control, Israeli sources say”,
The Jerusalem Post report dated May 29, 2025 “GHF opens third Gaza aid center, hands out up to 1.8 million meals”,
All this being said, you will continue to hear reports on your cable news networks castigating Israel by quoting stupid and corrupt UN officials like Tom Fletcher for some time to come. This is because the IDF and GHF operations are exposing the level of corruption at the UN and their close collaboration with a terror organization responsible for kidnapping over 150 innocents people while killing, raping, dismembering, setting on fire more than 1, 500 people. UNRWA staff members collaborated and assisted in this rampage back on October 7, 2023.
Hostages/Ceasefire Deal
A proposal for a hostage release/ceasefire deal was created by US Lead Negotiator Steve Witikoff was released to both Israel and Hamas. It appears now that the USA is indirectly communicating with Hamas through US citizen Massad Boulos thereby bypassing both Egypt and Qatar. Prime Minister Netanyahu announced that Israel would accept the terms outlined by Witikoff. Then Hamas announced that it would accept the proposal with several modifications. More details to come.
And In Your Copious Spare Time…
Here you can read about the incredible special forces operation that took place in Syria back in September, 2024. It gives a lot of insight into the capabilities of IDF special forces. Something to be proud of.
And here is a great higher level view on the situation Israel has been facing over the past year.
