What is clear to me is that whatever entity responded to the Iranian attack on Israel (300+ drones & missiles) clearly demonstrated the capability to attack and destroy land-based targets in Iran while evading Iranian defenses. This small-scale demonstration is of far greater value than any targets actually destroyed. No need to respond with 300+ drones and/or missiles. The point was made and I am sure that Iran got the message. -- The inverse is also true (as you pointed out a few days ago). Iran, while not specifically targeting Israeli population centers was "testing" Israeli defenses to see if a future attack would likely succeed. The point was made that Israel can defend against a multi-pronged attack. -- The guessing game is over about missile defense systems.
