I have been saying this for some time. He might give up some limited number, but why (from his perspective) would he give up all the hostages?
And I do not subscribe to The Washington Post and never will. Ditto for New York Times. But for some reason I am able to read beyond the Paywall on both The Washington Post and Wall Street Journal. I guess one of the advantages of living here.
Of late, I am more disappointed with the NYT than the WP. I do subscribe to both and will be happy to send a sharable link if you ever need a link. (I get 10 shares per month from each of these news sources) -- The very fact-based reporting I often find in the three WP articles you discussed is why I still like the WP for a great many topics, not just news about Israel.
I have read each book written by Thomas Friedman. The only one worth reading was the one he wrote in 1980 - From Beirut to Jerusalem. I was living in Israel at the time and thought that finally someone understands how to explain this conflict to a Westerner. BUT, very little he has written since that time is of any value. And now everything he writes is first coordinated with the ruling Democratic Party heads...
